NEWS: Kendrick Lamar named Rapper of the Year on the Cover of GQ’s mag “Men of The Year” Issue

GQ released their annual Men of The Year issue today.
Kendrick Lamar covered the magazine and was honored
with the award for Rapper of The Year. He also sat down
with the media for a chat, which actually took place
shortly after Kendrick had released his "Control" verse.
Kendrick was asked about his famed verse mentioned
above and relationship with Drake. According to the
Compton emcee, their relationship is, "Pretty cool," then
added, " I mean, I would be okay if we weren't."
Kendrick was also asked why he attended Diddy's MTV
VMA after party, an event where Diddy and J. Cole
supposedly got into an argument over his "Control"
verse. Said Kendrick:
"I only go when there's a point. Usually the point is
just niggas drinking. But walking through the club the
week after I released the 'Control' verse? That's a
point!"
